ICCE & NearLink: Unlocking New Possibilities for the Smart Vehicle Industry

During the technical standards and industry development seminar at the meeting, Lü Jinchao, YFORE’s Digital Key Product Expert, delivered a presentation on NearLink digital key technology and its practical applications.

Lü Jinchao stated: “Since its introduction, the first NearLink digital car key has achieved remarkable implementation results, thanks to the launch of NearLink technology and the NearLink Digital Key standard. The NearLink Digital Key standard represents another significant achievement for ICCE, in collaboration with the NearLink Alliance, in the digital car key domain, following NFC, BLE, and UWB digital keys. It signifies a new direction for domestic digital car key technology development and unlocks new possibilities for the smart automotive industry.”

BLE Cost, UWB Experience

Lü Jinchao introduced: “Thanks to the advent of NearLink SLE technology, which uses phase difference for ranging, it achieves decimeter-level positioning, ultra-low latency at the microsecond level, ultra-low power consumption at the microampere level, and data transmission speeds 6 times faster than Bluetooth, along with super anti-interference capabilities. This makes NearLink technology shine in the digital car key field. With a system comprising 1 main anchor and 4 secondary anchors, it can stably provide a ‘contactless’ unlock/lock experience with welcome at 12m, unlock at 2m, and lock at 6m. This effectively resolves the ‘car-ping pong’ issue, truly delivering the user experience of a UWB solution at the cost of a Bluetooth solution.”
