To promote integrated collaborative innovation between the automotive industry and various sectors, and to build a cross-industry innovation ecosystem, the Guangdong Automobile Industry Association (GACIA), through its 7th Board of Directors’ 6th Session held on May 29, 2024, officially approved the establishment of the GACIA Intelligent Connected Vehicle Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Intelligent Connected Committee”). GAC Research Institute has been appointed as the Chairman Unit, with Mr. Ren Qiang serving as the Committee Chairman. YFORE Technology, along with 10 other units, has been honored with the appointment as a Vice Chairman Unit.
The establishment conference aimed to discuss innovative applications and development trends of intelligent connected vehicle technology within the automotive industry, fostering deep integration and collaborative efforts among industry players. Secretary-General Zheng Qin of GACIA emphasized that the committee will serve as a vital link, conducting industry research, formulating industry standards, and leading the intelligent connected development of the automotive industry.
As the Committee Chairman, Mr. Ren Qiang presided over the conference and highlighted six key recommendations, emphasizing the importance of strengthening industry cooperation, jointly addressing international challenges, and establishing a cross-industry intelligent automotive standard technical system. He called for collective efforts to promote the industry’s intelligent, connected, and internationalized development.
During the conference, Mr. Wan Zhiping, YFORE Technology’s Vice President of Intelligent Connectivity Products, actively participated in discussions and offered valuable opinions and suggestions on intelligent connected vehicle development. Mr. Wan Zhiping stated: “YFORE has been consistently committed to the research and application of intelligent connected vehicle technology, possessing rich experience and technical accumulation in areas such as digital keys, vehicle-human interconnection, and autonomous driving. As a member of the GACIA Intelligent Connected Committee, YFORE will work closely with leading enterprises like GAC to jointly explore the development path of the intelligent connected vehicle industry and promote the widespread application of intelligent technologies in the automotive sector.”
The establishment of the GACIA Intelligent Connected Vehicle Professional Committee marks a new phase for the Guangdong automotive industry as it advances towards intelligence and connectivity. Leveraging this opportunity, YFORE will further strengthen communication and collaboration with GAC, GACIA, and other partners, contributing to the construction of an automotive industry ecosystem that is intelligent, connected, and internationalized. This endeavor aims to jointly create a new situation of win-win cooperation in Guangdong’s intelligent connected vehicle ecosystem.
